And to my greatest cheerleaders - my siblings and my Mom - 'njika njamu'.

How to Join the Fit for FOADAC (FFF) Club:
You are reading this because you have finally made that decision to keep fit and stay healthy by just walking or running for yourself while supporting an honorable cause – To become a member logon to http://www.foadac.org/donate.html and make a small donation of $25 or more and you will automatically get your fitness training sessions started.
Visit http://nikerunning.nike.com to get your gadgets.
WHY DO YOU NEED THE NIKE GADGETS?
Due to the essence of carrying out challenges, to motivate each individual in the run/walk club, it is essential that each participant be able to download their distances on a common site.
YOU NEED 2 Things ONLY
1. A DEVICE (RECEIVER) to measure your distance > NIKE+ SPORTSBAND ($59) (Wear it around your arm)
OR
> NIKE+ SPORTS KIT ($29) (to be used with an Ipod nano)
OR
>ITOUCH or IPHONE 3Gs
2. A SENSOR to pick up your steps & transmit to the receiver - a little oval chip that comes with the Sportsband and the Sports kit or can be purchased by itself ($19).
The sensor can be placed in one of 2 places:
Either inside a Nike+ shoes ($40+) under the sole
OR
Inside a Nike+ Pouch or Nike+ Lace lid ($5-7) - attached to any kind of sports shoes.
