I want to especially thank the first sponsors - Melissa Nambangi, Nicoline Ambe-Ndiforchu, Anita Balinga-Etta, Kelly Goon, Denise Beadle and Adeline Chia-Viyuoh for the initial boost that took me from walking to running...Thank you for your generous donations. And to my greatest cheerleaders - my siblings and my Mom - 'njika njamu'.

The walk or sport to reduce 2 dress sizes begins...

My dear friend Addy, suggested that the dress size goal is a good one because it is more realistic. I agree with her and will start walking as soon as I get the walk T-shirts designed. Remember, all walks or fitness projects should raise awareness or funds.
Back to my little Sis - Dr. Nabila, how about that pedometer or Nike running shoes that logs your mileage online as you walk or run??? That's a tall order, I know...
My goal will be something like 500 miles in 1 year at $1 a mile that raises $500. Can you imagine if I had just 10 followers with the same goal, we would collectively raise at least $5,000 in a year for the orphans. And the best part - maintain a healthy lifestyle and dress size to die for!
